Just watched a Japanese film called "My Girlfriend is a Cyborg" / "Cyborg She" since my dad was watching...
I bawled in the end .__. Though I didn't bawl like I did with "Two Brothers", but still >__>;;

And I did some research afterwards, and the director of the film is Kwak Jae-Yong, AKA the guy who directed My Sassy Girl OoO

Kinda funny too, since the main guy (Keisuke Koide) looks exactly like the main guy from My Sassy Girl (Cha Tae-Hyun)! lol~

Now that I look back, I -did- get some My Sassy Girl vibes.. hmmmmmm :3

But yeah, I'll update with a real update soon ;o;

CODE GEASS IS STREAMED ON YOUTUBE!!
I seriously SPAZZED (to jenzay and natashabu) when I found out, since it's not JUST the dub...

They have the subs too!!!

Also, it's not the regular YouTube size, it's A LOT bigger!!

I'm really excited for this new direction YouTube is taking!

I'm guessing that if the DVD sales of these anime series goes well, other anime companies will follow their lead <33

So jenzay came to UBC today <3
It was a lot of fun to hang out, with Aaron too. It's really been a while since I've seen either of them~ XD

Oh, and just for the sake of amusement, I will link to this 2_lines post I made earlier :3

Aww :( We finally learn how a bit about Castor's past and how he met Razette.

And wow.. that final scene was pretty shocking, to say the least.
At first, (since the page number of 31 was named 031 and I accidentally got a sneak peak since my manga viewer places 031 before 04 :P) I thought that Castor was assassinated or something, hence why he became one of the 7 Ghosts, but..

For some reason, 07-Ghost always makes me a bit teary :(

XDDD I'm on a Project Runway spreeeeee :P

I started watching Project Runway Australia, and most of the contestants are really quirky!
Not because of the accent though, but their personalities :D

So for the first episode, they had to design an evening dress.

Something about Mark is really reminding me of Christian from PR5
They're both pretty full of themselves in an amusing air, which makes me want to support them :3
Well, Christian is really talented though, but I'm unsure about Mark yet :P

Leigh's design was pretty crazy, but it worked really well :D I really like it! At first when he was choosing the fabric, I was a bit worried about his colour/pattern choice, but good thing it worked out well :D
And Petrova too~ I'm rooting for her ^^

lol I totally agree with the judges about Brent's design XD It's great without that ugly black blotch XDD
I knew he was gonna stay compared to Alison though, since at least he tried to hit the mark ^^

I think... PRA is a bit too similar to PR. At least Iman of PRC tried to change up the dialogue and all that, but PRA is like.. a complete rip-off of PR. That host (forgot her name) says the same things as Heidi Klum .__.

BUT! Good thing there looks like a lot more drama in PRA :D
PRC can be a bit... drama-less, so it's a pity ^^

Anyways, I guess I should go and actually study now >__>

lol So I went to the caf to get dinner, and today's "special dessert night" is "Fresh Fruit Tart Night"

It looked pretty decent, but it was sooo expensive!! Meal card price was $3.85 for a tart that was about 10cm in diameter!
So I resisted the urge to buy it and proceeded to check out.

Then lol the guy in front of me bought a fruit tart (along with the rest of his dinner) and the cashier lady was like "*blah blah*...and the expensive fruit tart" lol!

I literally lol'd right there.

We talked about that for a bit :P
Really though, almost $4 for a fruit tart.. that's friggin' expensive!
Off-campus prices are definitely so much cheaper!

$4 is like... Cumpari's (specialty dessert/gelato place) price is that, but that place is over-priced anyways XD

But yeah... just had to rant about that :/
Oh, and today was also "Korean Night", in which the food... well, can't say it's really anything special :/
It was like... a pork roast (with a Korean sauce I think) and these chicken breast... which really isn't anything special.
Well... it was a big orz moment :P

Kim's design this time around wasn't bad :3 It's not really a Spring-y dress, but the dress is cute.
Genevieve's dress is a big too formal to be worn as a "day-to-night" look, but it's still a great design.
Sunny and Jessica's really hit the mark though!! I loved their design~
Jason... I think he chose the wrong material :/ And I expected a little more from Adejoke, her execution wasn't as good this time around (Is it just me, or is she kind of slipping?)

Oh, and can't forget Jeff *face-palm* It looked ok, but it's just that whole controversy about the "hand-stitching" :P
And when he was going around in the work room lol! That was hilarious XD He's like... almost crazy XD

*head-desk* Youku is being a pain and it's loading sooooo slow OTL, I've been "watching" on/off since 6PM, and now it's almost 9 .___.;;

Gaaaah! I know I said that Reborn would be my next manga to read, but for some reason, I can't seem even seem to download it, much less get started o__o

Anyways, I kinda went through a bunch more random manga, and I got to "Hiiro no Isu", which is incredibly captivating.
It's listed as "shoujo", but it's more like

(Mystery/Suspense)Drama + (Historical/Fantasy)Setting

...and I don't know why that turned out to be like a math equation. And it's historical since (castles + royalty = historical) to me :P
But yes! Very intriguing :3
I like how so many things are interconnected :D
And when things are interconnected, you know the plot is awesome and full of love(ly drama) :D :D

Also, peeking at the Baka-Update recommendations in association with Hiiro no Isu, Cat Street is apparently closely correlated.
Which reminds me... the mood/feel of Cat Street is similar to that of Hiiro no Isu.
A strange sort of...... detachment, yet...

I just finished watching the fifth episode of Project Runway Canada > 3<

I remember from the get-go, that I really like Sunny :D
He's so talented, and he's won 3 times in a row!!
That's friggin' amazing if you ask me~

It was so sad that Baylor got sent home though :(
I think Kim did a worse job, but... I donno...
And Sunny was so sad too! He cried :( Well.. so did Kim.
But Baylor was pretty awesome!

lols~ I remember in episode 1 when 2 people dropped out. This girl dropped out due to anxiety attacks, and Danio dropped out because of the ulcers...
D: And when they showed that image at the end of episode 4... Danio passed away :(
That was so sad, since he was pretty talented, just that he had health issues that really impaired him :( :(

But yaaaa!! Go Sunny <3 He's amazing ^^
And Jason really impressed me in this episode, that jacket was made beautifully!
But Sunny will be #1! I just know it >:3

As a total off-topic note, listening to the Gundam SEED OST really makes me want to watch it again o__O And maybe perhaps watch Destiny after that too lol

Hello Snow, Good-Morning!

So this past weekend, it's been snowing on and off.
Sometimes for about 5 minute, and sometimes hours.
This morning, it has finally accumulated--meaning it won't melt off the very same day.

I know it's Spring and all, but I'm really not surprised that it's snowing :P
Must be getting used to it then, huh? :/
Abnormal weather, that is.

So strangely enough, snow makes everyone late, but not me o__o
I was actually early for my 8AM class.
It was... a very strange experience lol

I have this strange pet peeve that I don't like seeing stepped-on snow that's brown/dirtied.
And surprisingly, all the snow today that I've seen are not brown O__o
That... put me in a good mood.

Don't get me wrong, I still don't like walking in thin snow since it's always soooo slippery.
And I'm usually not a morning person.
Just like.... the serenity of it is infectious in a way.

So yes, that's enough about snow :P

I'm considering on changing my name/LJ since I feel that my LJ is very disorganized.
And whenever I think about that, I think "Why not just make a blog like I used to?"
It's really just a circle that never ends :/

I feel like I've outgrown the "momogiri" alias.
I really despised that people would interpret momogiri into a variation of momogirl.
Of course, there's only significance to that name for myself only, since I'm the only one who know's that momogiri is a (strange) abbreviation of Onigiri Momoko o__o;;

Oh well :P

Anime Roll ===O=o-. [SCREENIES!] [SPOILERS up to S1 Episode 11]

So uh.. yeah.

Judging by the airing dates, there's a huge lag from the 11th episode to 12 and 13.
And after watching the 11th one, the ending felt like an ending for the end of a season anyways (the unconventional ending where it's not the usual ending clip playing)

Oh, and I had to laugh at this scene.

*insert banter* Then Chika pulls the puppy dog face XD

...and shot down, by both Michiru and Shita :P

It's a pity that Shiba got reaped :/
He was an overall cool guy, though I knew he was pretty suspicious, and confirmed my suspicions in episode 5 with the Fake Butterfly guy...

Poor Chika :P

Zombie Loan... it has a pretty morose mood thoughout the whole thing. Well, it is an anime playing with the idea of the area between life and death.
Occasionally it will pull out a few amusing moments like the one above :P

The series is not bad... the plot's not boring, interesting enough that I'm curious as to what happens next :3
And I'll have to give it props; some moments can be a bit scary, as I was watching at like... 1AM :P

But... *head-desk* The first few episodes, the characters look so anorexic :/
I just remembered that they looked anorexic in the manga too, which I think was what turned me off :P
It's not so bad now, maybe because I got used to it, but still... orz

Strangely enough, I'm not that attached to any of the characters. Sure, there may be moments of sympathy, but... not enough for an attachment :/
Shita's history is pretty interesting, I guess they'll delve into that more in Season 2?
My favourite will have to be the Grim Reaper, Zarame, though...

I forgot to bring a birthday card from home, so it was all home-made with all the art and craft supply I had, which was... A4 paper, Staedtler pens, and the "sticky-tack-like stickers" lol

I'm happy with how it came out though~ I have some screenies, but I won't show it yet until she receives it :3 (So no spoilers from her part :D)

Oh, and I signed up for this Psych Study that I went to yesterday~ It was a lot of fun :D

So after finishing Puchi Puri Yuushi, I feel like I'm on a roll to watch anime XD
Now, I need some recommendations.

BUT, the criteria is that it can't be something that's super long and addictive, since... I won't be able to stop :P

So FMA is out. So is One Piece, Bleach, Naruto, anything along those lines.

Also, I don't really want to watch something I'm reading right now as manga, so...
No Skip Beat, SA...

I'm looking for something that's... interesting enough, but will not make me too obsessed that I will keep watching till the end... lol

At the moment, I'm going to watch Zombie Loan.
I remember trying the manga once, and I really really despised the character art >__>
Then when the anime came out it's become a popular series for some reason, so I'm gonna watch it and see why :P

So yaaaa, recommendations please.
Please something that's not addictive like Code Geass XD (Though I have it downloaded and I've seen 2 episodes, I know it'll be hard for me to stop if I keep going with those)

Haven't done this in a while... > 3<

I just saw episode 19 and it almost made me cry ;__;

There's something about bittersweet stories that really tug my heart strings >__<

Erumina and her dad's relationship was always pretty rocky, so it was really a sweet episode to build on Erumina's character.
The final part where she reads Rockwell's daughter's letter and lied about her daughter saying she remembers her dad's smiling face.
;o; What a tear-jerker T^T

It's always when we see others experience something painful, that we realize that we shouldn't take what we have for granted.
I'm happy that Erumina realized some things, and wrote to her father.

...And I also take back Puchi Puri being a mediocre show. It's better than mediocre, but still not Princess Tutu :P

Now, to episode 20!

It explains a lot of things... though they didn't say anything about them having an affair, and Gunberd did say that Arc's dad is a king through and though... I suspect something... Hmmmmmm
Ohhhhh and the sword of Arc's was actually given to Gunberd by Erlsel when he decided to embark on assembling the Tiara OoO

I've always wondered about Yuushi's origin. It's been said that Gunberd isn't Yuushi's biological father, since he found her when he was in battle

I know one thing for sure... normal babies don't glow :P

Wow... just finished Episode 23, and it was pretty epic XD
The battle in Fairy World against Diabolos felt like a finale to everything, everything just felt right.
Seemed like a typical "our hearts will win against all evil" kind of thing, but it was still quite entertaining to watch.
The scene with Beth and the Fairy King ;__; Glad her dad's going to be ok.

But then the episode ends on another sour note with the mysterious hooded apparition and Erlsel again...it's not over yet :P
(For the sake of having a SS :P)

OMG... I'm in tears right now. They're literally rolling down as I type.
I didn't know that this series was going to be bittersweet.

Turns out that in order for one to become the Platina Princess, the other 4 will sacrifice themselves in order to counterbalance that evil of the Tiara.
The other 4 gave up their candidacy for Yuushi to save Arc, since he received the wound from the parasite in the battle in Episode 23.
Then, the news about the sacrifice was told to them.

Yuushi refused, and they were stuck in this desolate ruin of a world. The only way was for Yuushi to accept being the Platina Princess...

So the 4... they tricked Yuushi into believing they found a door, when if fact, they didn't.
Then... they erased her memories of them so she won't remember and regret it.
And... they sacrificed their power.

*cue sad ending music*

Glenda:
Also, serve the Prince faithfully.
There's no one else that would stay with a brat like you!
Also, do something about those awful bangs.
And... and...

Yuushi's memory is erased and she's lifted by magic through that door.

Good game Grenda. Good game.
This was her best moment.

So let's recap here:
Yuushi went back and forgot everything about those 4, but she realizes she lost something, and went all over town to search for it.

Yuushi: I've... lost it

All the dads gather together to open the gate to the Magic World once again, and Yuushi along with Arc go and try to retrieve her lost thing.
This and that happens, and Yuushi happens to see the group portrait that Kokoru drew before the 4 disappeared, then suddenly...

The magic locking up her memories of her friends is broken.
Yuushi: 私の...大切...大切な...みんな！

Ok, so I've been watching Puchi Puri Yuushi streams lately :P
I actually decided to watch it since I read the manga (which was the prequel to the anime) and wanted to see how it ends...

At first, the first couple of episodes were pretty boring. Since it's aimed for a younger audience, some parts were blatantly obvious and slow :P
But, I finally got to episode 16, and it's finally getting better lol

Episodes with Yuushi x Arc are definitely the ones that are more entertaining XD
And c'mon, I saw Arc being the prince the first he appeared... Is this because I've seen too many "typical shoujo"? Or just... it's too obvious? XP

Someone in the comments compared this to Princess Tutu, and that really annoyed me. Princess Tutu is a higher caliber than this! Princess Tutu has more depth in it, whereas... Puchi Puri is just... mediocre.

It's not bad or anything, but in terms of comparison, Puchi Puri (thus far) does not come close to my Princess Tutu >:(

On another note...
Yay! I've finally caught up to the more recent chapters of Special A > 3<
I'm so happy that Kei and Hikari are finally together XD
Plus, it's kinda funny how the mangaka predicted my pairing pattern...

Akira is with Tadashi, then poor Yahiro will be left out.
And Sakura with Jun, making the trio down to Megumi and Ryuu.
Then Megumi now with Yahiro, with poor poor Ryuu all alone...

Then BAM! In comes Finn and everyone's all paired and happy lols!!

Well.. I guess not Aoi, but does he count? :P I guess I should correct that to everyone in SA is paired up XP

Some people found SA to be boring after a while, but SA has always had a special place in my heart for some reason.
It's one of the few manga that I read and can actually laugh out loud, compared to being amused, but not past the "laugh out loud" threshold.

I'll have to thank Entropy Scans for exposing me to the world of SA first :3 Back when it was still unknown :D

On another note, Kaichou wa Maid-sama also have a similar "tone" as SA. Though not really the same, but I somehow always feel that they are so similar.
Especially when it comes to the female leads' cooking. I saw the infamous onigiri scene from SA first, so when KWMS had a similar scene, it wasn't quite the same.
But I still love them both~ SA and KWMS, rock on! XD

Oh, final note: Iori Tokiwa makes me head-desk.

Yes, that's my "spoiler" point (since I realized I was missing spoiler-ish material).

So I've been on a manga-prowl for a while now, reading new shounen manga.
Last night, I discovered Psyren...

It's F-ING CRAZY OMGGGGG

Any summary of the series just make it sound so lame, but seriously, it's SO GOOD!
There's something psychological about it, kind of like Death Note, but... it's SO MIND BOGGLING THAT IT'S... CRAZY!!

SO CRAZY THAT CAPS IS ALL I CAN TO EXPLAIN IT
AND THE ONLY LITERATE THING I CAN SAY IS OMF-INGBBQ!! (%$&*^&U*^( ロロロ

Seriously though, go check it out for something good. It's amazing. It's.. out of this world!! $%@*^^&@$

Something about it just... makes me feel like I should do something! You see the characters in the situation and you're like OMFBBQ

Ahh~ Here's my long overdue post that I wanted to post during midterm week XP

So I had pretty much all my midterms (five) the week before reading break >__<''
It was a pretty long and tiring week .__. Especially that thursday and friday XD
After the Bio 201 midterm, I kept thinking about the test, and I even realized that I answered one of the questions wrong -__-;;

I'm glad it's over and everything, but as always, I wish I did better >__>

Oh, and Finals schedule is finally out X3

14 -- Psych 102
15 -- Bio 205
17 -- Microbi 202
20 -- Chem 205
23 -- Bio 201

Not too bad of a schedule I guess, and other than Psych at 12, all others are at 3:30PM :D
Yay me? XD

(SideNote: I always spell Psych really weird the first time I type it :P)

So on V-Day, Sean's [kurarinetto] orchestra Vancouver Youth Symphony Orchestra was in a concert with the VSO <3
Melissa [mashimero] and I went to watch the concert :D
I must say, every time I saw Sean on the screen, I felt so giddy haha :D And woo! for his solo :D :D

For the feature Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet, I wasn't sure if I would recognize the melody, since I didn't think I was music geeky enough XD
But I did. Not just that infamous "Romeo sees Juliet moment", but also the rest of it too lol

I'll have to credit Princess Tutu for that :3
The non-romantic parts of the overture, the exciting part, was the part where Tutu was facing off against Kraehe in the epic battle at the end of the first season <33
And the whole time, I kept having Princess Tutu images in my head <333 :D

It was just... total love~ <3

Before heading into the concert, I saw Deborah [papillions] and co., and I didn't realize until afterwards that other people I know went too ^^
For instance, Justin went with his girlfriend (though he didn't know Sean was in it), and Drew and Taz, and Duane was in the orchestra too!
When I saw Duane on TV, I wasn't sure it was him at first lol~ But yay for Duane too :D

But yaaaaa~ I thought the concert was pretty amazing :3 Pros really are pros, huh?

So after everyone went separate ways, Mel and I thought we really needed to feed on something sweet XD
We were on this like... post-concert high lol
So we got ice cream from McDonalds, and a couple minutes after we sat down, this asian guy sits beside us and started to talk to us.

It was the funniest thing ever! He started asking us random questions, and I really wanted to laugh but I had to hold it in XD
Then he saw Mel had a ring on, and started going on this rant about how rings on different fingers represented these Gods or something.
I'm not sure if there was any truth in that, but at that point, I really cracked XDD
I couldn't even look him in the face anymore, it was just too funny XDD
Then in the end when Mel said "I'm athiest." LOL

Awkward FTW! lol!!

Turns out he's a 3rd year Commerce student at UBC lol! I didn't mind him adding me on Facebook, but then I realized a couple days ago that I never set my FB profile back to normal after Sock Wars lol!!
So I don't think he'll be able to find me, if he really did want to add me XD
I feel bad :P

But really though... XD XD Hilarious!

On thursday, Mel and I went to see Coraline in theaters~ I really wanted to see it after I saw the trailer in January XD
It was actually a lot scarier than I expected lol
Coraline's a great movie though! The 3D cinematics was a bonus :3
Plus, it was a small showing, and the people sitting behind us had the funniest comments at times XDD

For those of you who haven't seen it yet, go see it!! It's really awesome :D

Trinity Blood is an awesome series though <33 It is the first ~~vampire~~ "Methuselah" (;D) manga that I got into, and I've only recently got really into it again :D (After my "manga-hiatus-for-mangas-that-I-really-enjoy)

Esther x Ion is my OTP for that series~ <33 They are seriously TOO CUTE FOR WORDS <333

I love them both soooo much <333
Though I guess.... Esther x Abel is going to be the end result >__< It's still a bit too strange for me at the moment though.. Esther x Ion <33

Oh, and I guess I should mention Esther x Dietrich X3 I was semi-supporting that, but Dietrich is sooo evil!! = ロ=;;
Who knows.. after his failure, maybe he'll turn around XD (Then it's OTP no more! XD XD)

And after going back and re-reading to volume 7, I finally could see that Dietrich really was controlling Radu. How else would "Radu" have known about Esther's past at Istavan.
Also the whole thing with Seth, it makes so much more sense after going back and re-reading it :3

I was also thinking... Seth mentioned at some point that she has two older brothers. One is obviously Abel, being Krusnik 02.
I'm going to take a guess and say that Krusnik 01 is the "Lord" from the Rosenkreuz Orden 0 ロ0

I love the intricate plot of this manga <33 The "Queen of the Night" arch was really well done <333

I feel so fangirly with these two series, as well as 07-Ghost (which is also awesome and needs more fans <3)
I've been getting more into shounen manga lately :P The plot always seem more intricate, compared to the typical shoujo manga .__.

But yes, Fairy Tail, Trinity Blood, and 07-Ghost are must reads if you're itching to read something new! > 3< ~<3<3<3

Oh, and I can't believe this entry took me a span of 12 hours for me to finish lol

It is with the great sadness to find out today, that Dave, the janitor of Thomas Haney Secondary School had passed away.

I received an invite to a facebook group called "Remember Dave Wight" to find this sad news.
It was extremely shocking; to the brink of tears.

He was the coolest and friendliest janitor in Thomas Haney. The chats in the hallways and afterschool were always extremely entertaining.

Dave, you will be sorely missed.

Rest in peace, dear friend.
